Here I am with braces for one and a half years! Four of my brackets have been replaced: two of the top brackets that are adjacent to the two front teeth and the two adjacent to those replaced brackets. The orthodontist said this is common procedure for some people near the end of their braces journey. The two top spaces have still not filled in. I am hoping the new brackets will change this.
